Same Day Courier 247 Ltd
This agreement governs how Transport Exchange Group (TEG) members and other subcontractors must identify themselves, handle, track and deliver consignments carried on behalf of Same Day Courier 247 Ltd. Acceptance of an assigned consignment constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Parties
This Agreement is entered into by and between Same Day Courier 247 Ltd (“Principal Contractor”) and the undersigned Transport Exchange Group member (“Subcontractor”) in relation to the subcontracting of delivery and courier services.
1. Identification and Representation
The Subcontractor agrees to clearly identify themselves as acting on behalf of Same Day Courier 247 Ltd when collecting or delivering consignments. Where required, a relevant job reference must be provided to support this representation.
2. Inspection and Communication
The Subcontractor shall carry out a thorough check of the consignment during loading and immediately after loading is complete. Any issues, including potential or actual discrepancies or damages, must be promptly reported to the Principal Contractor's operations team.
3. Load Securing and Insurance
It is the Subcontractor's responsibility to ensure that all goods are securely and appropriately strapped or otherwise fastened to prevent damage during transit. Any damage to goods while in the Subcontractor's custody shall be covered under the Subcontractor's own Goods in Transit (GIT) insurance policy.
The RHA Conditions of Carriage shall not apply to this consignment or to any consignments exchanged between Same Day Courier 247 Ltd and the TEG member.
4. Tracking and Communication via Courier Exchange (CX)
The Subcontractor agrees to keep tracking systems active during the consignment where technically feasible and to keep the job updated on Courier Exchange (CX) to maintain visibility of the consignment status.
5. No Co-loading or Unscheduled Stops
The Subcontractor shall not co-load any other consignments, make unscheduled stops, or carry additional cargo not authorised by the Principal Contractor. Breach of this condition may result in payment disputes and removal from future work opportunities.
6. Notification of Delays
Any significant delays, whether due to traffic, mechanical failure, or other circumstances, must be promptly communicated to the Principal Contractor's operations team.
7. Proof of Delivery and Payment
Upon completion of the delivery, the Subcontractor shall upload a clear and legible copy of the Proof of Delivery (POD), ensuring the recipient's name is visible. This documentation must be submitted via the Haulage Exchange platform.
Same Day Courier 247 Ltd processes payments through SmartPay; failure to provide proper POD documentation may result in delayed payment.
Acceptance and Execution
By accepting and performing the assigned consignment, the Subcontractor agrees to be bound by the above terms.
